Dutton Ranch Season 2: Yee-Haw, but When?

Yellowstone withdrawal is real, and Dutton Ranch is the cure fans keep searching for.

Here's what's reported today:

• Kelly Reilly has confirmed when Season 2 filming returns to North Texas (Dallas News).
• The nine-part Taylor Sheridan Yellowstone sequel has a new home release on Blu-ray and DVD (MovieWeb).
• Yahoo is running a "when does it come back?" release-date explainer.

Why a filming update matters

In television, the shoot is the first real signal that a season is on its way. Reilly pinpointing when cameras roll again in North Texas tells fans the show is moving from "planned" to "in production." A release date usually follows once filming and post-production are underway, though outlets note that dates can shift.

The Sheridan factor

Taylor Sheridan built the Yellowstone world into one of the biggest franchises on television, and Dutton Ranch keeps fans in it. Kelly Reilly is best known for playing Beth Dutton in the original series, which is part of why her word on timing carries weight. Texas has become a key filming home for Sheridan's productions, so a return to North Texas is good news for local crews and local fans alike.

The home release

A physical release is a quiet sign of confidence. Studios don't press discs for shows nobody wants. For fans, it's also the easiest way to rewatch the nine episodes before the new season arrives, with no streaming-subscription juggling.
