BJP Sets a 325–350 Seat Target for UP in 2027
At a meeting in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has set a target of 325 to 350 seats for the 2027 state polls, NDTV reports.

The meeting was attended by Amit Shah. NDTV says other key leaders present included state in-charge Vinod Tawde, national general secretary Smriti Irani and Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan.
Why the number matters
Uttar Pradesh has the largest number of seats in the country's state assemblies, so a target at this level is a signal of confidence and an attempt to energise the party's workers.
